UK Operations Manager
£35K + Benefits

Our client is a rapidly growing freight forwarder specialising in the Ireland / UK / Ireland market and is looking for a highly motivated individual to manage the UK operations division.

They have established services which will support significant growth. They are a major player in Irish / UK Freight Distribution so experience in this area is welcome but not essential.

The role is based in Warwick with responsibilities throughout the multi-shift UK operation.

You will be someone looking for a challenging career in Freight Management able to demonstrate flexibility in a demanding pressurised environment fully prepared to offer ‘hands on ‘leadership across the operation.

The successful candidate will have experience in the following areas:

Transport planning

Leadership

Freight consolidation and efficient line haulage

IT/MS skills including Excel, Word and Management systems

High volume cross dock activity

Budget control

Customer ServiceMulti-level communications

Inventory

Process improvement-KPI

Health & Safety

Sales Position

£35-40K + OTE Bonus + Benefits

They have established services which will support significant growth. They are a major player in Irish / UK Freight Distribution so experience in this area is welcome but not essential.

In addition to developing business from new clients you will generate more business from existing clients.

You will be bright, energetic and an ambitious sales professional. Our client provides the highest possible level of service and values individuals who are always able to go the extra mile in pursuit of customer satisfaction.
